Client Rights and Privacy

The Mary A. Rackham Institute (MARI) is committed to providing quality health care, which includes respecting patients’ rights to maintain the privacy of their health information and ensuring appropriate security of all protected health information. Every person at MARI who has access to clinical information must undergo Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training.

A Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) can be printed in English and or Spanish.

MARI has two locations. The Washington Street office is home to the Psych Clinic and UCCF. The Catherine Street office is home to all UCLL programs.
