The Mary A. Rackham Institute (MARI) at the University of Michigan is recruiting a lifespan clinical neuropsychologist with particular interest in sports neuropsychology.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Program development and management of specialized clinic in learning disorders that incorporates both assessment and treatment.
  • Neuropsychological evaluations of adults, young adults, and children with learning disorders, attention deficit disorder, traumatic brain injury, as well as adults and children with aphasia.
  • Development of innovative programs and academic and assessment services for student-athletes.
  • Teaching and supervision responsibilities in the APA-approved internship and the postdoctoral training programs at the Institute’s other centers, the University Center for the Child and the Family and Psychological Clinic.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) at the time the program was created, and with a specialization in neuropsychology.
  • Successful completion of a clinical psychology internship training program that was accredited by APA or CPA at the time of completion, and an accredited postdoctoral training program in clinical or sports neuropsychology
  • Eligible for full licensure as a psychologist in the State of Michigan, and
  • Eligibility for certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology is preferred.
  • Application for a clinical track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above within the University of Michigan (U-M) Rackham Graduate School is expected.
