Do you have a medicine cabinet full of unused or expired medication? The University of Michigan College of Pharmacy (COP) wants to help you dispose of it properly!
On October 1, 2019, the COP is holding a Safe Medication Disposal Event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All you have to do is drop off any medication you don’t need or want. Student volunteers will take care of the rest, ensuring environmentally safe disposal. Students have collected almost two tons of medication, keeping potentially harmful substances out of our water, landfills, and the wrong hands.
There are two drop-off locations this year, both with drive up and drop off available.
Ingalls Mall North (On Washington St. across from Rackham Auditorium)
Ann Arbor, MI 48109
Brighton Center for Specialty Care (Entrance 1 outside the Cancer Center)
7500 Challis Rd.
Brighton, MI 48116
