Parenting Through Separation and Divorce – Fall/Winter 2019

Events, News, Parenting, Workshops

If you are looking for a Friend of the Court-approved parenting course to help you and your children navigate emotions during separation and divorce, UCCF offers a free monthly Parenting Through Separation and Divorce workshop. The workshops are designed to offer practical, actionable advice for couples going through a split.

The University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF) offers these free workshops each month for all members of the community. Workshops run the first Wednesday of each month, from October to December, 2019.

If you’re going through a separation or divorce and want to ensure your children are receiving the support they need, then consider attending this free workshop. The program is an approved alternative to the SMILE Program presented by the Friend of the Court.

UCCF staff create a caring and collaborative environment to help parents understand their children’s needs during a time of uncertainty. This workshop offers specific suggestions for creating the most beneficial post-divorce parenting relationships.

UCCF provides free childcare for parents attending the event when we have staff available. Childcare will be offered on the registration form if it is available for a monthly session. Plan to arrive a few minutes early: the workshop will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and late attendees may not be admitted once the workshop begins.

You can find information about upcoming workshops on our News and Events Page, or by downloading our Winter 2019 Parenting Through Separation and Divorce Workshop Flyer (PDF).
