Phonemic Awareness Session – Summer 2018

The University Center for Language and Literacy is offering a special phonemic awareness session for 5-year-olds this summer. Phonemic awareness, the ability to notice and manipulate different units of sounds (phonemes), is a foundational skill necessary for reading and language development. In our program children will practice recognizing, generating, and combining sounds and syllables, with the guidance of our experienced reading interventionists.

We currently have four remaining spots in the program and expect that they will fill quickly. Please fill out our online application if you are interested in the program. If you have questions, please call (734) 764-8440 for more information.
