UCLL will host an afternoon of fun learning — and bear hunting! — at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival KidZone tent on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. The event runs from 5-8 p.m. and features a packed agenda of events for kids as well as adults.

Join in the fun:

  • Come with us on a multi-sensory bear hunt.
  • Explore how music and language are connected in the brain.
  • Help us launch our new reading program.
  • Make a craft to take with you.
  • Stay on top of summer reading with a copy of our free reading log.
  • Learn first-hand about aphasia, a communication disorder that affects more than 2 million people in the U.S. during Aphasia Awareness Month (June).

What is KidZone?

KidZone provides a fun and safe area for children and their parents to discover and explore a wide variety of hands-on activities with different community partners during the annual Ann Arbor Summer Festival. All sessions are free, and take place 5-8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the KidZone tent at Top of the Park.
