Social Skills Group

This  group is focused on children who need help developing or refining social skills.  Our groups help children learn to establish friendships and have positive social interactions while having fun in a safe environment.
 
Includes:
  • Instruction
  • Role playing
  • Practice and feedback to both the child and caregiver
Caregivers are also invited to attend a seminar provided during child’s group session.
 
Date and Time:
Sessions for different ages run throughout the year (typically on Tuesday evenings) with screening appointments scheduled prior to the start of the group. Please call the University Center for the Child and Family at (734) 764- 9466 to determine when a group for your child will be available.

Cost:
We accept some insurance plans, including Blue Care Network, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Cross Complete, Midwest and Meridian. Please contact your insurance provider to confirm benefits. The out-of-pocket fee is $40/session.
