We are known for:
University of Michigan Aphasia Program (UMAP)
- We were founded in 1937 and created the model for Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Programs (ICAP).
- Our trademark is our full-time, in-person program, but we also offer part-time and/or virtual options (in states where we are licensed).
Reading Intervention Services for Children
- Our reading interventionists work with each child to close reading gaps, using research-based instructional approaches, including Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell’s multi-sensory intervention strategies.
Enhancing Your English Pronunciation Workshop
- If English is not your first language, we offer a program to help you feel more comfortable and confident when conversing in English.
- Our certified Speech and Language Pathologists help non-native speakers feel more confident in their English communication, with sessions held either in-person or virtually.
Our staff:
We are a team of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with many years of experience in providing language and literacy services.
Self-pay:
Our clinic is self-pay only as we are not able to accept insurance for our programs.
