MARI Mentors

The faculty and staff at MARI are an experienced, supportive team, and every year we bring in a new squad to work with and learn from. That offers an opportunity to combine the knowledge of experienced members with fresh ideas every year. That keeps us moving and open to new modalities and ways of thinking.

I enjoy getting to know supervisees and the unique perspectives they bring to clinical work, including their previous training, lived experiences, and worldview. I also love the innovative and creative ideas supervisees come up with!

I’ve felt really supported in my training goals. The clinical supervisors have done the heavy lifting to make my goals work.

MARI is a kind and welcoming place, other trainees have gone out of their way to say hi and normalize stress and experience. Staff and fellow clinicians are amazing, I can’t say enough about them.

I like that we have the opportunity to learn from different individuals with different backgrounds and perspectives and education.

My training experience was transformative. I learned so much about the field, various therapeutic interventions, and I was given opportunities to successfully collaborate with and learn from colleagues. I had a wonderful supervisor, and I believe I learned something from each member of the Senior Staff.

Every supervisor is focused on your goals and what you want to get out of the program. They help you to learn what you are interested in and provide ample opportunities.
