What Is an Expert Consultation?
A UCCF Expert Consultation is a stand-alone, one-time session (approximately 45 minutes) with a mental health clinician who specializes in child, adolescent, and family issues. The session is designed to help families clarify concerns and take meaningful next steps.
What to Expect:
- Brief review of your child or family’s situation
- Practical, expert guidance tailored to your concerns
- Recommendations for resources, services, or evaluations
- Help identifying priorities when facing multiple needs
- No long-term commitment required
Families often leave with a better understanding of the issue, whether or not therapy or testing is needed, and what actions to take next.
Who Is This Right For?
You may benefit from an expert consultation if you:

✅ Can’t commit to ongoing therapy due to time, cost, or insurance
✅ Want help prioritizing between therapy, testing, or parenting support
✅ Already see a provider and need expert input for next steps
✅ Are seeking information on available services for children or teens
