Volunteer Opportunities at UCLL

News

The University Center for Language and Literacy (UCLL) is always looking for more amazing volunteers!

Our volunteers help strengthen our intensive programs at UCLL and provide valuable additional support to our clients. This is an especially beneficial opportunity for aspiring Speech-Language Pathologists, but we welcome all volunteers and the unique skills they bring to the table.

As a volunteer, you will have the chance to work with adults with aphasia, children with language delays, and individuals with reading and writing challenges. You will also get to work with our certified Speech-Language Pathologists as you learn to treat and communicate with our clients. Opportunities include conversing with clients, playing games with clients, working on special projects, and more.

If you are interested in volunteering for the University Center for Language and Literacy, please fill out our Volunteer Application. The application will ask you to write about your specific interests and goals while volunteering, so be prepared for it to take more than a few minutes.  After we receive your application, our volunteer coordinator will contact you and help you determine which program will be best.
