The Mary A. Rackham Institute will be presenting an evening of activities for kids during the annual Ann Arbor Summer Festival 2019. MARI’s University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF) and the University Center for Language and Literacy (UCLL) are teaming up to bring fun puppet-making, book reading and picture taking to the Kidzone tent from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.
Join us to explore the fun to be found within the pages of Mo Willems’ Piggie and Elephant books. We will offer a chance to color and construct Piggie and Elephant puppets, sit in on story time and get your photo taken as either Piggie or Elephant.
The event is free and open to the public, rain or shine. Food vendors and other events will be ongoing before, during and after the Kidzone event. For more details, see Kidzone at Summer Festival.
