The University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF) continues to offer a free Parenting Through Separation and Divorce Workshop, but has transitioned to virtual events. Participants will receive a link to access the online event after registration. The workshop is scheduled for 12 p.m. (noon), Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 via Zoom.
If you’re going through a separation or divorce and would like help navigating the pitfalls and potential minefields — and ensuring your children are receiving the support they need — consider attending this free workshop. The program is an approved alternative to the SMILE Program by the Michigan Friend of the Court.
What to Expect
Parenting Through Separation and Divorce virtual workshops offer practical, actionable advice for couples going through a temporary or permanent split. UCCF staff members create a caring and collaborative environment for attendees to help parents understand their children’s needs during what can be a tumultuous time of change and uncertainty.
This workshop offers specific suggestions for creating the most beneficial post-divorce parenting relationships. While it is free, workshop participants must register. Please sign up via the link below.
