The Mary A. Rackham Institute is pleased to share our first PQI report of 2025.
PQI, performance and quality improvement, is an important part of any institution. PQI reports are composed of standards that address administrative and service delivery to help MARI achieve our mission and strategic goals.
This report highlights both accomplishments and areas for improvement, reflecting our commitment to learning and progress. When performance falls short of expectations, we outline plans for improvement, reinforcing our philosophy of accountability and continuous enhancement. We use a simple icon system to track outcomes:
- Red checkmark (not meeting our target)
- Yellow checkmark (approaching our target)
- Green checkmark (at or above target)
We hope this report demonstrates our dedication to clients, transparency about challenges, and openness to feedback. This February 2025 PQI report contains data collected from October 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
It contains three major focuses:
- outcomes from our most recent client and staff surveys.
- updates on ongoing MARI PQI projects:
- a new MARI website
- de-identified resumes in the hiring process
- utilizing our current Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- current PQI improvement plans:
- revamping our client intake process
- new employee and manager on-boarding checklist
- marketing efforts at UCLL
- Decreasing the number of missing progress notes
