Todd Favorite, Ph.D., director of the MARI University Psychological Clinic, has been selected as a 2020 Ambassador for the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. The National Register is the largest credentialing organization for psychologists and psychology doctoral students. Certified health service psychologists are trained and experienced in the delivery of preventive and consultative services, assessment, and treatment. Members meet specific education, training, and professional standards, helping to ensure high standards of care are upheld across the profession.
As an Ambassador, Dr. Favorite will act as a key person in educating psychologists and psychology graduate students on the purpose and benefits of membership in the National Register. He will also provide feedback to the National Register to continue to improve healthcare delivery for clients.
In this role, Dr. Favorite represents MARI as a training and service delivery organization dedicated to improving healthcare by providing the highest level of education and training standards.
