The Psychological Clinic at the University of Michigan is excited to offer a full-time, 12-month Post-MSW Graduate Fellowship. This is an advanced clinical training program beginning February 1, 2022 and ending January 31, 2023, with an opportunity to extend for a second year. Applications are due by Nov. 12, 2021.

The Post-MSW graduate training opportunity mission is to advance practice competency, professionalism, and leadership in the field of clinical social work. It is designed for a clinical social worker with a limited license (LLMSW) in the State of Michigan.

Required Qualifications

Applicants need to have direct clinical experience using evidence-based interventions with adults in groups and individually. 

Eligible applicants must satisfactorily complete accredited Master’s-level training in Social Work, provisional licensing requirements for the State of Michigan, and criminal background checks by the start of the training year.

The University Psychological Clinic is committed to helping people ages 18 and older assess, address, and treat mental health through testing and assessments, individual therapy, group and couples therapy and workshops.  The Psych Clinic is part of the Mary A. Rackham Institute (MARI) at the University of Michigan. MARI provides high-quality, individualized mental health, neuropsychological testing, and language and literacy services to the community through its service centers, including the Psych Clinic, as well as the University Center for Language and Literacy (UCLL) and the University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF).
