The University of Michigan Laboratory for Mindfulness and Compassion in Psychotherapy and the University Psychological Clinic at the Rackham Institute will host a professional training on trauma-informed mindfulness. The training is a three-day intensive with Trish Magyari, LMSW, and will run Thursday to Saturday, May 9-11, 2019.
This training is for mental health professionals who have a mindfulness component to their practice, as well as therapists who focus in trauma treatment and are interested in further developing a mind-body, mindfulness- and compassion-based components in their work. It is drawn from both Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). CEs are available. Participants will receive advanced didactic and experiential training. You should attend the entire training.

Who: Mental health professionals with an interest in mindfulness as a therapeutic approach.
Cost: The cost for the training for professionals is $275, or if you would like lunch provided during the full-day sessions, $295. The cost is $75 for trainees (students, interns, fellows, etc.) or $95 with lunch included. You can pay via the portal with a credit care here: MARI Workshop Payments.

About the Trainer
Trish Magyari, MS, CGC, MS, LCPC, NCC, RYT-200 is a mindfulness and compassion-based psychotherapist, certified MBSR teacher/researcher/retreat leader, MSC teacher, Insight Meditation teacher, and LifeForce yoga teacher. Trish specializes in trauma, adaptation to illness, chronic pain, disability, and loss. Trish has a private practice in Baltimore and has 40 years of meditation experience.
